Education Fund

The Nebraska Conservation Education Fund exists to undertake the following projects in 2010:

  • Build a network of informed activists and local leaders with the use of a quarterly newsletter, website development and strategic use of social media tools.
  • Execute successful nonpartisan conservation oriented Voter Enrollment & Voter Education Programs to develop a statewide narrative on the environment.
  • Implement an innovative Youth Education Program to instill conservation and environmental values in Nebraska’s rising generation.

Our program of activities will supply a strategic plan, a forum for communication, collaboration and education to increase effective nonpartisan participation in conservation policy. The audiences will include law-makers, the media, the voting public and Nebraska’s youth.

The Nebraska Conservation Educational Fund supports the information and education activities of the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters.

It is a 501(c)(3) organization under the rules of the I.R.S., and can receive tax-deductible contributions, gifts and grants. For more information, contact Sean Flowerday, Executive Director.
