Mission

We know that the Good Life in Nebraska is all about the great outdoors and we want leaders who make the right choices so that our children and grandchildren can inherit the same rich and healthy environment we enjoy today.

Calling all wildlife lovers and outdoor enthusiasts for a rockin’ good time to celebrate our steady march forward protecting Nebraska’s great outdoors through strong advocacy in the statehouse.

The NLCV Joe’s Club Dinner brings together leaders and supporters of Nebraska’s conservation and sporting communities for an evening of camaraderie that directly supports the NLCV’s important electoral and advocacy work for conservation.   It’s time to kick back and enjoy a casual evening with friends in support of a great cause.

This year, the NLCV is collaborating with Ducks Unlimited for a truly memorable and meaningful celebration, as we dedicate the P. Joseph Gabig Wetland at Kirkpatrick Basin South Wildlife Management Area in York, Nebraska at 3:30 PM.  (map)

Then the party opens at 5:30 in Lincoln with a no-host cocktail reception and a fantastic array of goodies at our silent auction.  You’ll want to come early to place your winning bids on tempting items including gift baskets, bottles of wine, a hand carved decoy and box tickets to the Lincoln Stars hockey team.  (The auction list will be posted on the website soon—you really don’t want to miss these!)

We’ll have dinner at 7:00 followed by the World’s Most Amazing Assortments of Desserts—all provided by the best area venues at auction.  Yes, you will have to compete for your table’s choice of dessert!   Plan now to reserve a table of eight, so you and your friends can snag the best dessert.  And we’ll have live music following to give you the opportunity to work off a few of those delicious dessert calories before we’re finished.  It’s going to be too much fun to miss, and it goes to support the our critical work in conservation policy and accountability.

Tickets are only $30 per person and can be purchased on our website or by mail.   If you want a table of eight (and of course you DO), please email Mary Harding at mharding@nlcv.org with the names of your guests and table designation.
