Seven Candidates Win RacesThe Nebraska League of Conservation Voters celebrated a majority of wins on November 4. "We were pleased to help more than 75% of our endorsed candidates win in our first year of effort. We felt these candidates had a great deal to offer the people of Nebraska, and obviously their constituents agreed," said Steve Oltmans, chairman of the NLCV Action Committee. NLCV extends its congratulations to the following:
District 5 (Omaha): Heath Mello
District 21 (Lancaster County): Ken Haar
District 25 (Lancaster County): Kathy Campbell
District 35 (Grand Island): Mike Gloor
District 37 (Kearney): Galen Hadley
District 41 (Neligh-St. Paul): Kate Sullivan
District 47: Ken Schilz
The 100th Legislature convened on January 7, 2009.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the NLCV Action Fund in 2008, and made these successes possible. We pledge to double our efforts in 2010. Please consider making a donation now to replenish the NLCV Action Fund today for victories tomorrow!
