Thursday, August 26th, 8pm at Red 9, the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters will be hosting a benefit concert! All proceeds go to promoting water, land, wildlife and resource conservation initiatives across Nebraska. The Kris Lager Band, The Son of '76 and Stonebelly will be performing, and Goose Island Brewing Co. will be providing complimentary beer tastings. Raffle prizes include: Lincoln Stars Hockey skybox (includes 15 tickets, 3 large pizzas, non-alcholic beverages), one year-long free recycling membership ($120 value), $50 gift card to Best Buy, framed wildlife prints from notable local artists.
The Nebraska League of Conservation Voters will also be releasing their "Legislative Scorecard" at the event-which provides non-partisan, objective information regarding the voting records of Nebraska's state senators on key environmental bills.
